Beachfront location is beautiful. Had a lot of hassle finding dining options since there was only one nearby.

A commendable fit for a brief weekend stay in Layton with very good value for money. Clean and beautiful unit.

Access to complimentary kayaks is a huge plus for exploring the Gulf. Our room had a noticeable musty smell. Beautiful sunsets but the beach area feels a bit neglected. Lots of outdoor seating available for relaxing. The pool was smaller than expected and could get crowded. it's a decent spot for a laid-back stay.

Lime Tree Bay Resort offers stunning sunset views and a beautiful beach where we snorkeled daily, spotting sea turtles and nurse sharks.

The views from my balcony are nothing short of stunning. The kayaks and bikes are super fun and available for use anytime.
Breakfast could really use some help.

I loved lounging by the beautiful waterfront pool with stunning sunset views! The free kayaks and paddle boards were such a hit – we grabbed them easily and explored the water! Plus, the cozy vibes and super friendly staff made every moment feel special.

The pools were nice and the afternoon activities like snorkeling and paddleboarding were a highlight. The noise from the highway made it hard to relax sometimes, though. Overall, we enjoyed the beach access and the friendly vibe.

First, the views are breathtaking. The ocean and sunsets alone are worth a visit. The outdoor areas are well-kept and inviting, with a lovely pool and comfortable hammocks. My room was impeccably clean, and the breakfast offered an impressive variety. The staff was mostly professional, but there were notable lapses in service. Housekeeping interrupted my morning, entering without knocking. It was mortifying. access to groceries is inconvenient—20-30 minutes away, which is a drawback. Dining at the on-site restaurant felt neglected; we left due to poor service. While I appreciated the beauty and amenities, there are service improvements needed. I’m undecided about returning soon.

We had to haul our heavy bags up two flights of stairs since the elevator was out. Honestly, it was a real hassle, and after a long day of travel, I just wanted to relax without all that extra effort.

The room was spacious and well-maintained, with daily cleaning that kept it tidy. Air conditioning was a bit temperamental, but manageable. The bed was comfortable, providing a restful sleep after long days of exploring. Noise from the nearby fire station was noticeable at times, but it didn’t significantly disturb our stay. A beautiful ocean view from the balcony made mornings special. Having kayaks and bikes available at no extra cost was a great perk. housekeeping could improve; sheets weren’t always changed, and towels were occasionally missing. A lovely experience overall.

Great beach access and fun activities. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The night activities were fun and plenty for the kids. There was a game room that's open late with pool tables and video games.
It was a bit pricey, but overall it was worth it.

Breathtaking views and warm sunsets were the highlights, paired with a clean, spacious room that felt like a mini-apartment. The free breakfast exceeded expectations with its variety, while the on-site bar offered decent food and live music. lugging luggage up to the third floor due to a broken elevator was a hassle, and the staff's rudeness left much to be desired. The noise from the busy highway nearby made relaxation tough, but the pool and hammocks were nice touches. If you’re looking for fun activities, kayaking and paddleboarding were a blast!

The bed at Lime Tree was broken and uncomfortable, which made it hard for us to get a good night's sleep. One frustrating incident was when I forgot my phone at the coffee area for a few minutes, and no one paid attention to it until I tracked it and found it had been moved multiple times. This caused unnecessary stress during what was supposed to be a special celebration for my husband's birthday. The beach area was disappointing, as it was full of rocks, which limited our enjoyment of the waterfront. the location of Lime Tree was convenient, being situated between Key West and Islamorada. The staff were friendly, and the room was initially clean, although there was a slight smell. Housekeeping did their best to keep us stocked with toiletries and towels, and the sunsets over the water were truly captivating. our honeymoon experience was dampened by the fact that we were promised a room with a private balcony overlooking the ocean, but our view was obstructed by trees. Despite asking for assistance, our issue was not resolved, and we missed out on the romantic sunsets we had hoped to experience. the bathroom door in our room was faulty, and the cleaning staff would walk in on us unexpectedly, which was uncomfortable. A positive aspect was the restaurant/bar connected to the resort, which offered great food and service. there were areas that needed improvement, such as maintaining cleanliness on the beach and dock, and providing clearer directions to navigate the resort. The rocky beach entrance was unexpected, and having to make multiple trips for luggage due to the lack of a cart was inconvenient.

I had a blast snorkeling and enjoying the free kayak and paddleboard rentals, but nothing beats the thrill of watching a sunset into the Gulf every evening. The Dolphins and California sea lions were excellent chauffers for my morning swim.
I just adored living out of my suitcase; who needs a dresser anyway?

So, like, the view of the ocean was like, totally amazing, man. Like, it was the best thing about the place - can't beat it, you know? And, yeah, the rooms inside were pretty nice, with. Plus, they had cool free stuff to do, like bikes and kayaks and paddleboarding. That was rad. Oh, and it's, like, close to Key West, so you can totally do a day trip there.
Dude, let me tell you, the staff, except for one lady who was super nice, were. I mean, one of them straight-up walked in on me when I was, like, butt naked and didn't even say sorry.

We had an amazing time over New Year's! The oceanfront view from our room was simply stunning. The comfy beds and pillows were a dream. It was so cool to have kayaks available for free use, and the heated pool was a nice touch. Plus, having a fridge and microwave in the room was super convenient. The location between Marathon and Islamorada was perfect for exploring both areas.
Although the free breakfast was decent, the waffles were disappointing as they were cold and seemed old. The parking situation was a hassle, especially for rental cars.

We had an amazing time at a beautiful beachfront hotel in the Keys. The ocean view from our room was breathtaking. The spacious room was modern and had a comfortable bed. The private beach area felt serene and not crowded. I'll recommend this hotel.

The sandy beach was perf for chill picnics and beach volleyball. loved hanging out at the children's playground and exploring the marked plant trail. The Dolphin center was lit!
Could use a rad nightlife scene for us party animals.

The shady park with volleyball courts, picnic pavilions, and a children's playground provided endless entertainment. We enjoyed paddle board rentals and sunset cruises at Robbie's, making unforgettable memories together.
My wife says that the hotel could improve by having a designated kids' club for children's activities.

Choosing Lime Tree Bay Resort was primarily for its proximity to the spectacular underwater sights of Hawk Channel. However, the complimentary continental breakfast served daily from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m exceeded my expectations. The variety of quintessential Florida Keys dishes, including Gator Bites and classic Key Lime Pie, provided a delightful start to my day.
Bed linens and ocean view obstructed.

the room was clean and the property well-maintained, with a new pool being installed right on the water. the breakfast, albeit sometimes out of items, was a nice addition. the oceanfront view from our room was stunning, and the inclusion of Netflix and Prime at no charge was fantastic. the staff were attentive and professional, making our honeymoon a wonderful week.
Can’t fault anything about it 😊
